Nano-C Brush
Our new high-tech product Kuzmin™ Nano-C Brush (High Speed Nano-Carbon Brush with extremely thin electro-conductive bristles with abrasive charcoal nanoparticles) is a member of a next generation of ski roto-brushes. The habitual roto-brush is designed to be attached to electric drill by chuck. Usually such solution cannot provide more than 2900 rpm and accompanied by significant eccentric oscillation.
The Kuzmin™ Nano-C Brush is designed to be attached to angle grinder (a handheld power tool). To any most common angle grinder with a M14 spindle (or with proper adapter to 5/8"-11 thread spindle). The solution provides up to 12000 rpm and practically total lack of eccentric oscillation. The brush’s bristles are made of high quality, extremely thin (0.02 mm) tapered high springy filament. The filament contains abrasive charcoal nanoparticles.
Therefore, this combination - high rotational speed and soft, extreme thin bristles with abrasive nanoparticles polish all the valleys inside the ski base structure, even inside the very fine structure. And shining well-polished (finished) structure is a prerequisite for a good glide on the cold dry snow.- Please, pay attention! The revolving brush has to be kept in constant lengthwise motion. Motion can be very slow; it can be back-and-forth motion. But it has to be motion. Never stop.
- Do not push the brush against ski base. The pressure has to be very light.
Though we do not recommend to glide wax skis, we have to point out, that Kuzmin™ Nano-C Brush works very well even on glide waxed (hot waxed) skis. Especially after treatment with hard glide waxes.
