Good fast ski glide is provided only just by a very simple lubricant – water. The water film can be too thin to guaranty a satisfactory ski glide, when weather is cold. Under dry cold snow conditions we have to do all best to utilize available melt water film as effective as possible. By this reason we have to minimize roughness of ski running surface.
Our new product Kuzmin™ Drum is an innovative simple device which presses down and flattens the ski base. The device is used together with hand electric drill (up to 3000 revolutions per minute) and an industry-standard handle from Red Creek®
Our own tests indicate a marked improvement of ski glide under cold dry snow conditions in comparison with merely Kuzmin™ minus scraper preparation. Even under very wet snow conditions we indicated glide improved by use Kuzmin™ Drum and some coarse riller.

Kuzmin™ Drum has to be used as any roto-brush. The one difference is a little bit higher pressure against ski running surface (ski base) in comparison with a roto-brush.
The another difference between roto-brush and Kuzmin™ Drum the fact that Kuzmin™ Drum does not have any bristle hair to loose, by this reason the Kuzmin™ Drum is a practically wear-free tool.
