Kuzmin™ HSA-023 Brush

Our new product Kuzmin™ HSA-023 Brush (High Speed Abrasive Brush) is the next generation of rotary brushes. The standard rotary brush is designed to be attached to an electric drill with chuck. Usually such a solution cannot provide more than 2 900 rpm and is accompanied by significant eccentric vibrations.

Kuzmin™ HSA-023 Brush is a further development of our own HSA-017 Brush. To achieve a better finish, the HSA-023 Brush has crimped bristles instead of straight ones. Such filaments are more agile in the axial direction, therefore producing a cleaner and smoother finish.

Kuzmin™ HSA-023 Brush is intended to be attached to an angle grinder. For angle grinders with the most common M14 spindle. The solution provides up to 12 000 rpm and practically total absence of eccentric vibrations. The bristles of the brush are made of high-quality nylon impregnated with silicon-carbide particles.

Therefore, this combination – high rotation speed and soft but abrasive nylon brushes cleans the ski surface very effectively but gently. If you want to freshen up the sliding surface of your skis, but don't want to steel sickle them, then you will benefit from the brush. And much more.

Another area of use for the Kuzmin™ HSA-023 Brush is the treatment of stone-ground skis. A cardinal way to get rid of fluff and grey-white zones on the ski surface is the steel scraper. But the HSA-023 Brush can help just as well with the aforementioned problems.

• Please, pay attention! The revolving brush has to be kept in constant lengthwise motion. Motion can be very slow; it can be back-and-forth motion. But it has to be motion. Never stop.
• Do not push the brush against ski base. The pressure has to be very light.

Though we do not recommend to glide wax skis, we have to point out, that Kuzmin™ HSA-023 Brush works very well even on glide waxed (hot waxed) skis.

Do not forget to screw the HSA-017 Brush on angle grinder’s spindle very tight!

Note! Angle grinders have a steel spindle. The HSA-023 Brush has a plastic body. Therefore, it is extremely important that the plastic base follows the thread on the spindle, and the spindle does not break the internal thread of the brush. First, slightly counter clockwise to get the spindle into the thread, and then clockwise until it stops.
